In 2022, the young couple Hinatéa and Tristan signed a life-changing contract for the purchase of an Excess 11 called "Mara'amu", meaning the prevailing wind in Tahiti. They had both quit their jobs in UK and aspired a more relaxed lifestyle in Tahiti.

Departure from Les Sables d'Olonne in France on November 17, 2023, Hinatéa, Tristan and the skippers started an adventure at sea on the Excess 11. Their destination is Tahiti. They described the Excess 11 as a comfortable sailboat combining performance, speed and thrills.

After 3 long months of voyage, "Mara'amu" made a stop at Hiva Oa, an island in French Polynesia, where Hinatéa's father surprised the crew with an unforgettable welcome.
