The 2019 Laser Masters Europeans wrapped up today in Roses, Spain after five days of racing. The hot summer sun shined throughout the week, with consistent winds of 8-12 knots, bringing great sailing conditions for all 263 competitors.

Canadian Sailing Team alumni in the Laser and Finn fleet, and previous Youth World representative, Ray Davies put up a quality score during this event. Finishing 1st of 39 competitors in the Laser Standard Master's division and 2nd overall in the Apprentice and Masters groups. This sailor has yet to deceive us, as he currently holds the title of Canadian Masters Champion.

Followed by fellow alumni teammate, Al Clark was crowned Laser Radial Grand Master European Champion. Finishing 1st of 54 in the Grand Masters division and 2nd of 65 in all age groups (Apprentice, Master, Grand Master, Great Grand Masters).

These Canadian sailors never cease to make our country proud!
