Magic Marine team sailor Nicholas Heiner wins the Laser Worlds

A rising star, an underdog and now a hero. In the medal race at the ISAF World Sailing Championships, Nicholas Heiner (NL) sailed a glory race winning by more than a minute.
Nicholas joined the Magic Marine team in 2014 and has been working with the team in R&D as well as with photo and studio shoots. This occurs just when the time is right. Magic Marine is launching a full new hiking range for 2015 and Nicholas was wearing some of the products during the week. 2015 Metalite Series on in the Medal Race and the new Summer Long John.
Santander, Spain delivered difficult conditions for all competing classes. Nicholas rose to the top in both breezy and light conditions and finished on top with a 6 point lead over Nick Thompson from Great Britain. Coming off of a difficult Olympic test event, Nicholas turned on the focus and brought home the Gold. Congratulations a a well deserving athlete!
